Winter XGames is where my career began and it still holds a very special place in my heart. I've photographed the event many many times so when The Player's Tribune approached me with the assignment to "shoot winter X but make it ART - worthy to hang in a gallery for people who don't know a thing about skiing", I was equal parts excited and nervous. This was one of the most challenging and gratifying assignments of my photography career.
